The yellow
(it's actually House of Kolors Aztec Gold Candy) 1969 Z/28 is Adam's Street/Strip car. Because he already had one. That's the
reason the automatic transmission was even in the car in the first place. with a mild BBC the car ran a best 0f 10.17 @ 132.
With a simple swith to a Jerico Four Speed and McLeod Clutch it ran a best of 9.89 @136. Oh yea, it runs back to back to back
numbers and reaction times. This should dispell the myth that only an automatic can be consistant and reliable. BTW- DOT
Hoosiers and mufflers as well as a NJ State inspection were in place for all runs.
This car is getting a new engine as we speak. Steve Schmidt just finished a 565. Should be fun to see what 1100 HP, 3500 LB
ALL STEEL FOUR SPEED 69 Camaro will run in DOT trim. Just in case, it's got a Wilson Direct Port N2O system in place.
