1969 Chevy Nova SS Strip/Street CarPrice: $18,500Description:This car has it all.406 Small Block Chevy with AFR Aluminum Heads, 12:1 Speed Pro Pistons, Mild Roller Cam (6500 RPM)Roller Rockers, Victor Junior Intake, Barry Grant Demon Carb, MSD 7AL2 with Timing Retard. MSD Billet Distributor. A fully dialed in NOS Nitrous System that works perfectly every time. A TCI Powerglide with a 9" converter and Trans Brake transmit the 550-plus horsepower to a Braced 9" Ford Rear with a Nodular Center Section holding 4.11 Gears and a Detriot Locker. Moser Axles complete this Bullitproof Drivetrain. A set of AFCO Aluminum Coil Over Shocks, Fully adjustable Ladder Bars and a Diagonal Link make this car Hook hard, go straight and, most importantly keeps it incredibly consistant. A 15 gallon JAZ Fuel Cell complete with a Fuel Gauge Sender is mounted in the trunk. Two small High Amp Batteries are mounted in the trunk as well. The body of the car is Very Solid and Very Straight. The Metallic Blue is Show Quality. a six inch Harwood Glass Cowl hood is hinged and locks with the factory hood lock. An aluminum air pan is moulded into the underside so when you close the hood, the air cleaner pulls nice fresh air into the engine. The front and rear bumpers are fibeglass as well. Inside the car is a full 8 point roll bar with removable side bars for easy street driving.Two JAZ Racing Buckets make it nice and "Comfy" A Cheetah Shifter works the Glide. On Race day, turn on the CO2 bottle, put in the 6200 RPM chip and let the air shifter do it's job. If you are a top bulb racer, just punch your number into the Dedenbear Crossover Delay Box and go 000! Or if you are racing a slower car and want to leave off their bulb, just put in your ET, your opponents ET and hit the crossover switch! The Transbrake and N2O button are on trick brackets that snap over the Grant Steering wheel. No tangled wires to deal with. An overhead control panel makes all switches within reach. A full complement of Autometer Gauges monitor all vital funtions. Both the passenger and driver have five point harnesses. A stereo system lets you listen to your favorite tunes while cruising in the street or sitting in the lanes. This car can be street driven everyday. Back the timing down to 32 Degrees and it will run on 93 Octane. 110-112 and bring the timing to 36 and get ready to race. This car ran 11.25 on it's last pass, street trim through the mufflers (Stainless Steel Borla)with a 10" M/T Slick. The car has a "mini tub" so it will fit as big as 11.5x30. There are two sets of wheels. Centerline Covo Pros or American Racing Torque Thrusts. If your are looking for a GREAT Bracket car that's easy to drive, low maintanance, fast enough to enter any race, big or small , this is your car. If you are looking for a street car that gets the thumbs up! from everybody that sees it, well, this is the car for you. This car is fresh. It was in a heated garage for five years. I took the car out last year, registered it, cruised the street and ran it at E-Town and Atco twice. I went two rounds at Atco, I lost because I broke out. 11.30 Dial in, I ran 11.25 against a 7.78 Dragster, he ran a 7.78!. The point is, this car is ready to win and there is much more left in it. A 4.88 gear would put this car in the tens easily. I only made a couple of runs with the Nitrous. 10.38 & 10.38! This system is fully adjustable. I ran it with the smallest jets. You could easily run in the Nines if you choose to just go fast. Asking 18,500.00 as shown. I have many extras, dropped spindles, new bigger rotors and calipers for the front, a set of Centerline wheels with M/T Slicks and new Goodyear Frontrunners. Open Trailer available also. |
